Jeffry Lamb joined Deschutes Investment Consulting in January 2025 after 15 plus years as a pension actuary. He has worked on retirement plans of all shapes and sizes, from start to finish and even beyond as his clients needed. His favorite projects were helping business owners design and administer complex retirement plans, such as cash balance plans and floor offset plans. He also has a passion for assisting attorneys as an expert witness for marital dissolution calculations. Jeffry is excited to still be involved in the retirement plan world.
As a lifelong resident of Oregon, Jeffry earned his bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics and theoretical mathematics, with minors in physics and business from the University of Oregon. Jeffry is an Enrolled Actuary, an IRS credential he is very proud of.
Outside of work, Jeffry mostly spends his time with his wife and four children. When he is not coaching his kids, or driving them to various activities, Jeffry is a Portland Trailblazers season ticket holder (Jeffry was named after the original Trailblazer, Geoff Petrie), hot sauce connoisseur, and recovering shoe collector.
