In addition to leading the firm's financial planning efforts and supporting the advisory team, Aaron serves as the primary advisor for many of the firm's wealth management clients.
Aaron joined Deschutes seven years ago after relocating to the Pacific Northwest from upstate New York. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University and is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional.
Aaron is passionate about simplifying complex financial issues and developing thoughtful, tax-efficient strategies tailored to each client's goals. He enjoys helping clients understand not only what decisions to make, but why those decisions are in their best long-term interest. Whether planning for retirement, managing wealth, or navigating major life transitions, Aaron is committed to providing clear, objective advice that helps clients make informed financial decisions with confidence.
Outside the office, Aaron takes full advantage of everything the Pacific Northwest has to offer. Whether hiking, camping, exploring Oregon's coastline, or discovering Portland's restaurant scene, he appreciates the lifestyle that drew him west. He also enjoys basketball—as both a player and a fan. While the Golden State Warriors will always have a place in his heart, he's proudly adopted the Portland Trail Blazers as his hometown team. When he's not working with clients, you'll often find him on the court or spending time with his family.
