At Deschutes Investment Consulting, serving others extends beyond the work we do for clients every day. It is also part of how we show up in the communities where we live and work.
In observance of our annual Deschutes Day of Service, our office will be closed on Friday, April 3, 2026, as our team spends the day volunteering with organizations and causes that matter to them. This dedicated day gives every employee the opportunity to step away from their desk and make a meaningful impact through service, whether that means supporting local nonprofits, helping students, giving back to families in need, or contributing to community-based programs.
Our Day of Service reflects a core part of who we are as a firm. We believe strong communities are built through involvement, generosity, and a willingness to give time where it is needed most. By setting aside this day each year, we aim to live out those values in a tangible way.
Last year’s Deschutes Day of Service was a powerful example of that commitment. Team members volunteered across a wide range of causes, including promoting financial literacy in local schools and universities, supporting organizations that serve survivors of trafficking and domestic violence, packing care bags for youth in foster care, restoring native landscapes, helping at a school fundraiser, volunteering at a book fair, and assisting with food support efforts in the community. Highlights included team members speaking to high school students about saving, investing, debt, and financial decision-making, as well as participating in outreach efforts that supported both children and families throughout Oregon. These efforts reflected the many ways our team chooses to make a difference and the shared purpose that drives us.
We are grateful for the opportunity to continue this tradition and proud of the care our team brings to both their professional roles and their volunteer efforts. We look forward to returning on Monday, April 6, inspired by the chance to give back and contribute to stronger futures for our communities.
If you need immediate assistance while our office is closed, please feel free to contact your advisor directly or leave us a message, and our team will respond as soon as possible upon our return.
